Fossil-Free Crib
Context: This unusual baby crib was designed and developed by FROLIC studio for energy provider Vattenfall as a part of a campaign highlighting the end of the fossil-fuel era. The brief was to design and develop a baby crib without the use of fossil fuels, from sketch to final product. The main objective was to emphasize the use of fossil fuels in production.
Learnings: Being involved in the project for several months taught me a lot about sourcing sustainable materials and production methods but also how embedded fossil fuels are in every part of the development process. It laid a solid foundation for my sustainability interest and focus within the design field.
