Draw & Fold

Brief: Design and develop furniture miniatures in a 1:5 scale.

Learnings: Being divided into teams of three we wanted to use the group setting to our advantage. Using a hyper-democratic design process, we drew inspiration from everyone’s personal styles to create a range of unique furniture pieces that push the boundaries of what a chair can be. Drawing and folding, using memory cards, and turning sketching into a game enabled us to get rid of preconceptions.
